Pioneer® Product Series - Vertex™ Ducted Central Split

Ducted air conditioning units provide climate control for multiple rooms using a single system and a network of air ducts. Pioneer’s ducted split systems offer whole-house heating and cooling with consistent comfort. Available in various configurations, our units range from 24,000–60,000 BTU with a SEER of 18. Built from quality materials with smart design, they deliver lasting performance.

Important

The outdoor unit is pre-charged with R454b Refrigerant, allowing refrigerant line lengths of up to 25 ft. per circuit. For longer refrigerant line sets, additional refrigerant is required. System is pre-configured to be used with the included digital controller system thermostat for fully automated variable capacity operations flawlessly using RS485 communications mode. It also provides an option to be controlled by any generic 24 Volt analog thermostat. See instructions to switch control modes between RS485 and 24 V analog modes, if using an alternate thermostats is desired. Variety of optional Electric Strip Heater options possible. They are available with multiple KW ratings as well as with or without breakers. Line sets require braze type connections for both sections and other complex installation tasks are involved, requiring installation by trained professionals.
