The McDaniel Metals DDNIFRPGA Downflow Internal Filter Rack (no economizer) is compatible with all chassis of the Goodman self-contained multi-positional packaged units without downflow economizers. This model is previously known as the: PGFR101/102/103
Instructions:
- 1. Remove the blower/evaporator access panel on the unit.
- 2. Place the filter rack in the bottom of the unit over the bottom return opening with the opening on the top filter channel toward the outside of the unit.
- 3. Use tape or another non-mechanical fastener to keep the accessory in place.
- NOTE: Due to potential water issues, Goodman does not endorse using mechanical fasteners that penetrate the base pan of roof mounted equipment to secure this accessory. In most cases the weight of the accessory is sufficient to keep the filter rack in the proper location.
- 4. Install a 14X25X2 filter in the channel provided.
- 5. Replace the unit panel.
