What kind of refrigerant does this unit use?
This system uses R-32 refrigerant and comes pre-charged for 25 feet of line set. If your installation exceeds this length, additional refrigerant will be required. Please consult a licensed HVAC technician to properly add refrigerant during installation.
Can I get longer extensions for this installation kit?
Yes, you can purchase additional line sets in our store.
When the unit is in auto mode, what will the room's temperature be maintained at?
When auto mode is turned on, the ac will start the unit's cooling mode to begin cooling until the target temp is met. After that, the unit will switch to dry mode for a short time. The final step switches to the fan-only mode that saves energy.
Do the mini condenser lines come pre-vacuumed or do they have to be vacuumed?
The mini condensor lines are not pre-vacuumed. The customer needs to vacuum the mini condenser lines during the installation process and before using it for the first time. The refrigerant is precharged in the outdoor unit.
What is the diameter of the copper line set?
The lineset copper diameter is 3/8" and 1/4".
